The Ultimate Garden Makeover Giveaway – With Plant Paradise – Terms and Conditions

1. The competition is open to residents of South Africa who are 18 years or over, except employees of Plant Paradise & GenLeads Pty Ltd and their close relatives and anyone otherwise connected with the company or judging of the competition.
2. There is no entry fee to enter this competition.
3. By entering this competition, an entrant is indicating his/her agreement to be bound by these terms and conditions.
4. Only one entry will be accepted per person. Multiple entries from the same person will be disqualified.
5. Closing date for entry will be 25 July 2025. After this date, no further entries to the competition will be permitted.
6. Plant Paradise reserves the right to cancel or amend the competition and these terms and conditions without notice in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. In the interest of ensuring fair play and maintaining the integrity of the competition, the organizers reserve the right to modify the competition’s terms and conditions if any unforeseen circumstances or unfair practices are detected. Changes may include adjusting scoring criteria, disqualifying participants engaging in unethical behaviour, or addressing any discrepancies that could impact the fairness of the competition. Any changes to the competition will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by the company/organisation.
7. Plant Paradise is not responsible for inaccurate prize details supplied to any entrant by any third party connected with this competition.
8. The prize is as follows: a Garden Makeover worth R250 000.00
9. Once you have entered the competition, 10 Shortlist candidates will be chosen by Plant Paradise and announced on 28th July 2025:

9.1. Shortlisted contestants will have to be available during the week of 28July-1 August for a short video interview with Marionette Lubbinge stating why you should be the winner of a brand new garden.

9.2. Contestants have to ensure that their video gets the most ENGAGEMENTS (Post Impressions, Post Reach & Engagements – 10% ). The video with the most engagements as of 10 Sept 10:00 am will be deemed the winner.

9.3. Only unique engagements on the Facebook Platform specifically Plant Paradise’s Official Facebook Page will count.

9.4. Formula: Your Score Count = Post Impressions + Post Reach + (10% of Engagements)

10. The winner will be announced on the September 13 during our Spring Festival. If the winner cannot be contacted or does not claim the prize within 3 days, we reserve the right to withdraw the prize from the winner and pick a replacement winner.
11. Plant Paradise’s decision in respect of all matters regarding the competition will be final and no correspondence will be entered into.
12. The entrants and winner agree to the use of his/her name and image in any publicity material, as well as their entry. Any personal data relating to the winner or any other entrants will be used solely in accordance with current South Africa’s data protection legislation and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent.
